"Breakin the Law"

When tv takes it to far this is what happens. If enough people complain to the FCC and then the FCC has come to the conclusion that the shows obsenity has become a nusence then the show has to pay a fine. The fines can vary from $10,000 to $4,000,000. sometimes if the crime is not to bad the producers know that they will pay but it is so miniscule that they could care less. Except when you get toward paying the big bucks. The most recent "big buck" fine went to the december 31 showing of Without a Trace in which case they had to pay $3,607,500. This is only because the viewers complained. Without people complaining it would be chaos on tv.

I cant believe they fined a tv show so much money. I wonder what caused this massive fine?

A massive find indeed. There should be more of this punishment going out to these bad producers. if it were up to me i would fine proucers 1 trillion dollars. We as a country need to stand up to the telecomunications industry
